Review Animations

A strict review of timing, purpose, interruption, and animation implementation.

The editorial verdict

Where it earns its place.

The useful second pass after a motion implementation: it produces concrete findings and an explicit review decision. Its scope is deliberately limited to animation code and its standards favor restraint. A clean review is still a judgment against those rules, not a measured performance result.

Reach for it when

  • Reviewing a motion diff
  • A team that wants consistent animation feedback

Think twice if

  • You need general UI or accessibility coverage
  • You expect the reviewer to implement unrelated features
