# Impeccable: a weekly operator view

Mode: Operate. The studio lead is checking the next action during a working day. The brief, not a marketing style, is authoritative. Baseline evidence: competing centered hero and metrics, low contrast, nested surfaces, vague actions, and a hidden blocker.

The source cache contains instructions but no launcher. Context loading did not run. Read the synthetic product brief and existing HTML directly. The source's native context, concept-seed, detector, hooks, reviewer and documenter workflows were not executed. This is an explicitly adapted instruction-guided run, not the full Impeccable engine pipeline.

Direction: a familiar working list with one decision row, inline task disclosure and a compact review column. One system sans, fixed type scale, one neutral surface plus a quieter toolbar layer. No load animation, ornate display font, metric cards or nested cards.

Reference mapping:

- SKILL.md mode Operate: task success and familiar affordances lead.
- reference/operate.md: one type family, fixed scale, structural mobile collapse, 150–250ms state transitions and progressive disclosure before modals.
- reference/new-work.md sections 1, 2, 6, 7: preserve product truth, define surface task, build real controls, bounded inspection. Runtime-only direction and finish steps are disclosed as unavailable.
- reference/craft-floor.md: working controls, readable contrast, explicit action copy, no eyebrow headline, no metric-card scaffold.

Prepare review expands an inline checklist with focus return and Escape handling. Blocker details use native details. Progress remains 6/10; this demonstration does not invent updates or suggest a real client invitation was sent.

## Source-guided colour refinement — 2026-10-21

Reread the pinned SKILL.md plus Operate, craft-floor and new-work references. Operate's accent restriction shapes this refinement: forest green identifies the next-decision region, primary action and review state. The appointment is a pale secondary surface, not a second saturated focal point. The existing white-led working layout and system type remain.

Palette: canvas #FBFCFA, working ink #22382D, secondary ink #52665A, toolbar/preparation paper #F0F5EF, forest #18553E, deep forest #123E2E and sage appointment/review fill #E1ECE3. Supporting colours are rule #D2DDD3, decision copy #DBECE1, appointment body #254E39, appointment label #48614F and progress track #BECFC0. The blocker uses amber #78510A on #F8EDCF.

- The faint decision tint becomes a forest-green task region with white heading and tinted supporting copy, making the next action visible before the table.
- The nearly white review column becomes sage with a deep-green Friday time, separating the appointment from ordinary work without giving it equal prominence to the decision.
- Review and blocked states gain small, distinct fills alongside their text labels, improving the scan across task, owner and state. The primary button shares the decision's forest green.

This is a subsequent source-guided colour and hierarchy refinement of an adapted instruction-guided example. Context loading, the native launcher, concept-seed, detector, hooks and shipped finish workflows were not run; complete workflow conformance is not claimed. The original prompt, input, source pin and execution date are preserved, as are the facts, controls, mobile collapse and reduced-motion handling.
